Description
MAXIFLEX STYLE MK1
The MK1 gasket features a fixed outer ring, similar to spiral wound gaskets, which helps it align properly within flanges. This type of gasket is typically designed and sized according to the EN12560-6 specification for ASME B16.5 flanges but can also be customized to fit other flange standards.

MAXIFLEX STYLE MK2
The MK2 gasket is designed without an outer ring and is typically used on tongue and groove or male and female flanges. It is often employed in heat exchangers and represents an improvement over double-jacketed gasket. For existing flanges with nubbin features, it is recommended to machine these out to avoid fitment issues. In cases where partitions are present, they are also serrated similarly to the Kammprofile gaskets. These serrations match the thickness of the core and are usually tag-welded at the edges.

MAXIFLEX STYLE MK3
The MK3 gasket features a loose fixed guide and is commonly used with nominal pipe size and pressure class raised face flanges. It is well-suited forĀ equipment exposed to significant radial shear movements, thermal cycling, and thermal expansion. This gasket is typically designed and sized according to the EN12560-6 specification for ASME B16.5 flanges, but it can also be customized to meet other flange standards.
